Soka SS16 ‘Bequia’ is based on a reimagined life of what the designer’s home country, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, was like in the 1950s.

Looking at vintage pictures of island life, designer Karen De Freitas explores her ‘island girl’ through romantic hourglass silhouettes, and soft cascading ruffles and pleats. This woman is not afraid to be more lady like this season.
