This collection focused on Karen’s passion for music. Music makes her happy, keeps her company and dictates her moods.

Dancehall has been a huge part of her culture and her childhood. Her passion for it, however, was mostly inspired by her babysitter who introduced her to it by playing cassette tapes all day filled with Lady Saw, Beenie Man and Red Rat. She listened to this all day thanks to her.

This is Karen’s introduction to the Jamaican dancehall culture of strong sexuality, powerful women and rawness that she translated into flamboyant colors and a woman who is not afraid of showing a bit of skin.
